Rev. David McKay

David McKay began his ministry at Grace Presbyterian Church in October of 1982. After earning his Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts, he was called the the denomination’s Mission to North America Committee to do church-planting in Western Pennsylvania. That church plant became Covenant Presbyterian Church in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.

Rev. McKay was born and raised in Pennsylvania, attending college at Grove City College and Thiel College.

David met his future wife, Peggy, in 8th Grade. They are parents of two daughters and two sons and are blessed with sixteen grandchildren (at last count).

David is an avid reader, especially of history. He has been a Civil War re-enactor with the 49th Indiana Infantry and was an extra in a couple of movies.

The McKays love to travel and often visit missionaries on the field. While at home, they enjoy gardening.
