Worship and Teaching

Worship

Our Sunday morning traditional worship service begins at 10:30am (Sunday school for all ages meets at 9:15am). Our Sunday evening worship service begins at 6pm and is a less formal service with more of an emphasis on congregational life. It is also traditional.

Preaching

Our Pastors preach the Word of God seeking to draw out the true meaning of the text. We desire to be faithful to the Word of God, helping the Lord’s people see the implications for their lives. We believe that the Lord speaks through His Word, by the work of His Spirit and so we are dependent upon His Holy Spirit applying His Word to our hearts and minds. Our sermons can be found on the internet at www.sermonaudio.com.

Teaching

In all the teaching ministries of the Church, we desire to help people (adults and children) grow in their knowledge of the Lord and His Word. We work at utilizing effective teachers for our Sunday School ministries who are knowledgeable in the areas they teach, and we seek to follow the general principles that Scripture gives us respecting our teachers.

Youth Ministry

We have a Youth Group (for Senior High and Junior High students) that meets weekly for a time of fun together and a lesson on a text of Scripture or a discussion dealing with issues that are current for our youth. We also have a ‘Kids Youth Group’ that is a ministry for kids ages 6-12yrs old. This group also meets weekly for a time of fun together and a lesson. Our Associate Pastor leads both of these ministries.

College

Our college students get together every summer for a weekly Bible or book study.

Missions & Service

Missions is an extremely important ministry to us at Grace. We not only support full time missionaries around the world, we also send a Missions Team out every year.

Our Missionaries, short-term, world

At Grace we have purposefully limited the number of full time missionaries that we support so that we can be more active in our prayer and financial support of those missionaries. We support missionaries that serve through the Presbyterian Church in America’s missions organization (Mission to the World). We are privileged to support missionaries in Chile, England, Mexico, Romania, and in the US. We also support missionaries who serve in countries where it is difficult to be a Christian.
